I love décor, like really love it! I tend to take every surface of my home and decorate it. Sometimes in places that really should be kept clear like kitchen islands I still go all out. It’s my joy in life even though sometimes I think it drives my husband bonkers when there’s no place to put anything else. (Sorry…. Not sorry). I don’t use too many rules but one that I usually tend to stick to is the ‘Law of Odd Numbers’.
I actually have no idea if that’s what it really is called. That’s just what I call it in my head. (That’s quite a scary place). I digress… basically it just means when putting together a vignette, or a grouping of things on a table, odd numbers are pleasing to the eye. SO, if you have a sign and a bowl it’ll be more pleasing to eye if you put one more thing, like a little plant, to round it out. Easy, right? Well, some days. 😉
