Summer Farm Table Fun

Ok, so my chickens are finally old enough to produce eggs!!!! You have no idea how excited I am.  Unreasonably excited.  Most expensive eggs on earth 😉 After all the yard, coop, feed, heaters, AC units (yes, AC units. I live in AZ and my chickens are spoiled) it’s time!!  I have chickens that lay green, blue and brown eggs! They’re beautiful!! Summer Farm Table was inevitable!

Farm Fresh Eggs!

Of course, before I had my own eggs I was thrilled about my chickens being old enough to lay and decided to create a tablescape to express my excitement. Sooooo, in the pictures are grocery store eggs,

with the exception of the tiny brown eggs in the baskets. Those are Miss Frizz’s eggs! She was my first layer.

I actually had the most fun with this tablescape because it was completely spontaneous.  I had received the funny chicken pot from my husband for mother’s day and purchased some forage seed mixture to plant for my chickens (again, they’re spoiled).

It looked so cute I had to spotlight it in a post. Tablescape created!

I wanted it to really be farm like so I used classic jars for drinking glasses. They turned out better than I thought they would!

I had these adorable egg cups I used for an Easter tablescape and they were perfect.

I had the red buffalo check from a picnic tablescape and added the salt and pepper shakers because I couldn’t resist!

The weakness for salt and pepper shakers is real!

Besides those, the rest of the table was my Everyday Table stuff!

I really hope you enjoyed the Summer Farm Table. I sure did.  Unreasonably so!

Happy decorating!
