Who says you have to use traditional colors for Holidays?! You Don’t! It’s not a real rule! You do YOU! Especially when it comes to decorating. If someone judges you for your decorating, LET THEM! It’s YOURS! If pink flamingos for Christmas is what makes you happy then Bravo! Good for you! Decorating should be a big self-expression outlet! Wow…. I’m a little passionate today. I need to breathe and take it down a notch😊

Sooo… when you think of autumn do you think of BLUE??? Well, I didn’t until I found these adorable napkins that had blue in them along with all the fall colors! They’re now some of my favorite. When I started on this tablescape I HAD to use blue. It was screaming to be used… and I have to say I love it!! It gives this casual table a little formal feel.

I usually do layering when I tablescape and this table is no different. I used one of my neutral fall table runners and then used one of the cool napkins diagonal over the middle of the table. Stacked some pumpkins, added some dark blue velvet ribbon, lights and faux leaves (Our leaves won’t turn for a few MONTHS yet). I had some small natural pampas grass that I tucked in a few places as well.

***Warning*** I love pampas grass as much as anyone but it’s a MESS!! Just think of a dry dandelion just waiting for someone to make a wish and that’s pampas grass. Soooo, if you want to use it (I do!) then a couple tips and tricks.
- I wouldn’t use it outside on a windy day.
- Spray with hairspray and let dry before handling too much.
- Take a new Swiffer duster around before guests arrive to remove the ‘handling evidence’! Hope this helps!
